Not sure what to say?

January 5 2021. Charlie, Carolyn and family are still in my prayers. He and the other Taunton boys that went to Coyle with me will always be so special. On that Great Basketball court in Heaven, I still see Charlie shooting and sinking that Great one handed Connor shot for us and adding prayers to Our Maker to up Our score. With love and special memories. Your friend and teammate. Pete Gazzola

Just learned of Charlie's passing. Deepest condolences from a Tufts classmate.

Although I had not seen him in many years, his ready smile and lighthearted humor will always remain in my memory.

The Coyle Warrior class of 1959 has lost a great gentleman and athlete. My condolences to the entire Hoye Family. RIP Charlie until we meet again. Michael Barney O'Hearne

"To Carolyn and family. Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Bill and I have many memories of CYO dances, Coyle, THS, and our times at Durands. Time passes so quickly, but memories stay with us forever. Stay strong Carolyn. You will be in our prayers.

To Carolyn and all the Hoye Family. Both Paula and I send our deep sympathy for your loss. My memories of Charlie both at Coyle and Holy Cross and later years will always be some of my fondest memories. I was blessed to be his basketball team mate at Coyle and will always remember his wit and off hand comments that sparked the moment. Charlie touched my life in special ways and will be always remembered. God Speed and God Bless.

Thanks for the years of friendship, you will surely be missed. Prayers for Carolyn and family

My deepest sympathy to the Hoye family -- throughout several generations one of the great families of...

Sorry to hear about Charlie .

Growing up I spent many hours in the backyard at Cedar Street trying to stop his famous hook shot.
