Not sure what to say?

I only recently heard of Charlie's death. I went to high school with him and although I'm not seen him in many years, I still remember him as so warm, funny, and lovable.

Charlie was an old friend for whom his resume gives only a hint of his depth and character. He was funny, warm, thoughtful, devoted, interested, aware, honest, a battler, who in the end had the courage to accept his fate, with incredible grace. He left us too soon, but we won't soon forget him.

I was the Resident Assistant of the Dormitory where Charles living in his Mizzou days. I was always surprised how he could be a student (a good one) and a reporter for the Star at the same time. He was amazing! I am sorry for you loss and will keep you in my prayers. Rev. Bill Koch

There are some people who make your world better because you know they are in it. To me Charles was always one of those people. I know you will miss him greatly.

Dear Ms. Foister and Anne,

It is with my highest regard and deepest sympathy that I write with Charlie's passing. He inspired, mentored, and taught me for several years through many rough and difficult times. My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.

Michael

May the many memories and happy moments bring you some solice at this time when your heart seems so empty. Although your Mother-daughter relationship has always been very special, I feel certain the role you...
