I have known Judge Humble since first working with him at the National Judicial College in 1990. He was a dedicated jurist and earned the respect of judges from all over the country. More than that he was a loving husband, caring father and dedicated Oklahoma fan. I have visited with him at his home and from the pool table with the big "O" in the middle there was nothing that did not display his love of his state, his alma mater and his family. I have been practicing law in Oklahoma since 1984. I appeared before the judge on multiple cases over the years.He always handled his cases with a down to earth manner according to what the law stated.He never had the air about him that certain judges have that forget that one day in the past they too were mere attorneys.It was always a joy to be in this man's courtroom.I am deeply sorry that he is gone but i am also sure that he is in a much better place and doesnt really miss his courtroom...

I FIRST MET CHARLES IN 1977, LATER AS A SERVICE CUST. . I ALWAY'S ENJOYED HIS STOPPING BY GRABBING A CUP OF COFFEE AND VISITING WITH US BEFORE GOING DOWNTOWN. I'VE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM AND TO CALL HIM FRIEND. EUGENE MENDENHALL MY THOUGHT'S ARE WITH YOU.
