Not sure what to say?

Dear Rashell, Rhonda, Roslyn & Angela, Byron and all of the rest of your family....I was very sorry to hear of Charles passing. He was a mentor to me for many years and I felt as if I was one of the many members of your "huge" Dallas family. He inspired all of us to carry on what I , at the time, thought was a losing battle, but so many things were changed because of his hard work and inspiration. Florine Writesel (Altamont, NY)

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I am very saddened to learn about the homegoing of Dr. Hunter who was one of Bishop College profound professors. His dedication to the students, and the college was immeasurable. He walked the walked, and lead by example for all of the students to witness how a true man of God should live, and treat people.
Thank God for allowing him to share his gift of knowledge, the love of God, and humanity with the world.
God bless his family and, love ones during this time of sorrow.

Dear Rhonda and family,
What a blessing your father was to everyone that came into contact with him. The beauty in a life well-lived[daily examples of discipleship, love, morals, character, intellect, bravery, and sacrifice] is the fragrance[legacy] that lingers behind. May our Heavely Father's healing touch diminish your lost, and replace it with smiles of cherieshed memories upon your heart(s).
With deepest sympathy,
Your friend,

Dr. Charles Hunter was a leader in civil rights and fairness in Dallas. He was business like in his approach and had many friends.

He will be missed by so many.

May the Good Lord Bless Dr. Hunter and the Family.

Ms Hunter

my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Rhonda and Rhashell: My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jeanne Buchmeyer Chase

My sympathy and prayers are extended to the family of Dr. Hunter. He spent his life helping others. He was especially kind to my mother during her illness. I remember fondly the memories that J. D. Hall shared with me about their work in presbytery together. Now they are together with the Lord and all the family and friends who awaited his homecoming. May God remain close to you and comfort you as only He can. God Bless You.

Dear Rhonda and siblings,
I was blessed to be in your father's senior Friday morning exercize group. I love his fountain of youth drink and the fruit he shared with us. Dr Charles would not let us talk and he was good in telling us what muscles we were improving and how we could exercise while at home or in the super market. We will truly miss him and the city has lost a distinquished wise Election Judge and dedicated Christian teacher & role model. Just remember that he is already in...
