Charles "Chuck" Ivey

I never met Chuck, but I worked with his son, Mike, at The Capital Times. The importance of family certainly got communicated down to Mike! And, I am sure Chuck had a big hand in that. I enjoyed reading Chuck's obituary and learning about his adventurous spirit and love for others. My sympathies to the Ivy family.

Beloved uncle lots of fond memories. A good man is always missed.

CHI was pretty good. His command of language was coming from a last and easy place. Condolences to widow Ivey, for the last smile of that love , knowing not, the fastness, is never really lost . Words are the champion of Unitarian faith, so I remember here the quiet murmurs of joys and concerns which he kept so quietly, saying quickly "that's as it should be". Now knowing how I crash, I credit him with my first religious development.
