Not sure what to say?

My condolences. He passed away too early. His article is inspiration. I wish that I'd made time to know him as an adult. Love, Lynn

Grace. My deepest sympathies. I know he must have been a great man if he passed your muster. Warmest regards, Ron Parker

Miss ya Chuck.

I served with General Jacoby in C Co 1/325 when he was a 2LT. He impressed us from the very start of his career. As the years passed we met a few times as he steadily advanced. The last time we met in person was in Afghanistan when he was a Brigadier. He hadn’t changed a bit. I mean that as a great compliment. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. We have lost a very special man.

I served under Gen. Jacoby while he was a 2nd lieutenant platoon leader 1/325 CO. C 3rd Platoon, Gen Jacoby was an officer who lead his men through his high standards of being excellent in profession as an Infantryman. You will truly be missed, Airborne All the Sir RIP

My condolences to the Jacoby family. I served under then 2nd Lt. Jacoby. He was my Platoon Leader in C Co. 1/325. All The Way Sir!

Sending love and prayers. Gen. Jacoby was kind enough to write me a letter of recommendation to West Point and I will never forget that act of kindness.
