Not sure what to say?

Mr. James. You were a good friend and drinking buddy of my dad Jim , and my husband Mike. I can see the three of you lifting glasses and telling "stories". Now St. Peter can say. "characters welcome".

Charlie, you have been a very special friend through all the years I have known you. I was in tears when I found out you had passed on. We just made fruit cakes in January. Who would think that in less than 5 weeks you would be gone. When you see my Mom have a Stoly with her! She always liked you!
May God Bless You.
Love always,

Charlie,
I was saddened to hear of your passing. You showed me how to point and shoot a gun, frequent visits to your favorite watering holes, girlfriends hidden during our relationship and your pet name for me, FIREPLUG!
God Rest Your Soul

WITH THIS NEW BREED OF "COPS" THEY WILL NEVER KNOW THE WAY IT "WAS"...LT JAMES, LEADER OF THE BLACK SHEEP SHIFT!! WE ALL LOVED AND RESPECTED EACH OTHER AND ALWAYS GOT THE JOB DONE IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER, BUT MANAGED TO HAVE FUN DOING IT!! I ALWAYS NEW WHEN HE WAS SITTING IN A BAR I WALKED IN, BECAUSE IN THE UNFORGETTABLE VOICE I HEARD "YOU UNSUFFERABLE ****" AND WE NEVER GOT MAD..... YOU WILL BE MISSED, BUT NOT EVER FORGOTTEN...HAVE A SCOTCH WITH THE REST OF THE GUYS AND "SALUTE"

U devoted your life to over seeing the welfare of the familes in Maple Hts Your dedication is appreciated very much from a former Classmate of 1959 an also ex-wife of a fellow officer...U were the first to arrive the day I went into labor for our second child Your help and humor made the experience very memorable to me Sorry we won't be meeting u this Sept at the 50th

Farewell to the longest serving officer in the history of the Maple Heights Police Department. Rest in peace Lieutenant James.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.
