Dr. Charles A. Janda

My heart goes out to the Janda family.
My Father was Charles Janda's cousin. My Father, Lee Perkins always admired and loved his cousin. I remember many fun stories of Chuck, Loraine, Uncle Charlie and Aunt Bertha that I enjoyed as a child.

On behalf of Fr. Scott Donahue and Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Charles Janda.

May the angels lead him into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.

I worked with Dr. Janda for 20 years. He was a great surgeon and a great person. He was also a personal friend of my family. He will be truly missed, a great loss and an end of an era. His family is loving, wonderful and extremely supportive of one another. My prayers and thoughts are with them.

As a child and adolescent, Dr. Janda was my surgeon after a I suffered a severe dog bite on my face. Because of his skill, no one notices what was once a large scar that made me insecure. His talents were equaled by his charm and gentle approach. He made a big difference in my life, for which I am grateful. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one, Charles. May the God of peace and comfort be with the family.
