Charles W. Jeppson, 67, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at home.
According to his wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held. Private graveside services will be held at St. Vincent?s Cemetery in LaSalle. Arrangements are entrusted to Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.
Mr. Jeppson was born September 3, 1947 in Spring Valley to John W. and Kathryn (Galiher) Jeppson. He attended Hopkins High School in Granville. He married Judith A. Ulanowski on October 22, 1966 in Ottawa. He was a member of St. Valentine?s Church in Peru. He was employed at LTV Steel in Hennepin for 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; four children, Charles W. Jeppson II of Ohio and John F., Matthew T. and Justina M. Jeppson all of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his mother, Kathryn Selbrede of LaSalle and two brothers, Dennis Paul Jeppson of Florida and Duane K. Jeppson of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Jeppson and a great-grandaughter, Alexandria M. Jeppson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

Sorry for your loss Judy. I worked with Chip for years and always enjoyed his laugh. God has called him to a better place and he will be there waiting for us when God calls for us.
