MY HEART AND PRAYS GO TO THE FAMILY.

I will miss the times when Mr. Jerabek would come over when he knew I was working on my apartment and he would share stories about how he built our house and what our neighborhood use to be like. He loved going back to these times, and I enjoyed listening to him. He would tell me about different projects he worked on with his father and Charles Jr. and he'd share his building ideas with me and I'd bounce mine off him. Of the many thoughts that I have of him, the one that is most prominent in my memories is seeing him in his lounge chair at the end of our little deadend street whenever the sun was shining. At first I thought it strange, as years went by, I welcomed that site. I bought my home from Mr. Jerebek in 1986 and he made the neighborhood seem 'close.'
