Not sure what to say?

I have known Charles for the better part of 18 years and although our contact was intermittent over the past few years, every encounter was like we just had spoken the day before. I also reffed many games with him as well as participated with his AAU teams and tournaments. I am very saddened by this loss of a great man, mentor and friend. God bless Nani, Sean, Anthony, Joey and the rest of the Jergo family.

First off my Thoughts and Prayers go out to Charles's Family and Friends. I met Charles on the AAU circuit about 4 years ago and I must say we had some pretty good battles over the years. I always enjoyed picking his brain after the times he beat us.. Last year in Vegas I got an chance to watch him and his son Ref together.. I am truly going to miss our conversations.. I didn't know him real well but I could tell he had the heart and passion of a true coach.. You will be missed my friend...

Charles was always full of enthusiasm for the game of basketball and a positive influence on the players and the game in general. While he entertained us with his witty commnents, infectious personality, and his quality smile, he also taught the game to the players in a unique way. Charles was a positive influence on our middle school basketball league (Sierra Foothill Athletic League)for many many years and his presence on the court will be missed incredibly. Thanks for the great memories...

I never knew the man personally, but watching him ref my son's basketball games, I sensed he was a great man. He seemed to enjoy his job and he seemed to really like the kids. He certainly was a very good ref and my son and I will miss him next basketball season.

I wish you all peace at this hard time, and remember the good times.

Charles refereed my games sometimes and he was really nice.He was always smiling ,he was always fair ,and he nice to all the kids.RIP Charles...YOU WILL BE MISSED!

Charles was a wonderful man that we entrusted the care of three of our daughter, while playing on traveling teams. His coaching instilled the love of the game, improved their skills, while making the experience fun. Kellie, Korri and Katie enjoyed many summers playing for Charles. His patience, and kindness will forever remain with our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family

Charles was one of my favorite referees. He always stopped to talk and joke with the parents. He'll be sorely missed.
