Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about Charles. I dealt with him pertaining to his farming interests in Littlefield. I knew his mother & brother and he knew my mother as he rode the same school bus with her during their school years in Littlefield. I thought a lot of Charles and had a lot of respect for him as a person. He was a fine and kind gentleman who had a great love for family. I will miss him. Rest In Peace, Charles.

Mary, Julia, and Chad, so sorry to hear of your loss. Out of respect for him, I always had to address him as Mr. I enjoyed the years in banking I worked with him.
I keenly remember how diligently he worked at remembering the names of people whom he had just met. I heard the sad news of his passing late and unfortunately will not be able to attend the celebration of life service and see you all.

Kindest regards,
Charlie Murphy

A true gentleman of the old school...the world needs more like him and his beautifull wife.

My condolences for your loss.

Charlie was a great (and understanding!) host father to me as an exchange student to Hobbs in 86. I am so grateful I caught up with Charlie & Mary just a few months ago and he was largely unchanged - a true gentleman, generous of spirit, a great listener and genuinely interested in the lives of others, very proud of his children, and obviously very much in love with Mary. He seemed at peace with the world and leaves behind a great legacy and wonderful family. Rest In Peace.

Charles and Mary were excellent mediators, and good training and skills were part of that, but their character became part of the mediation and guided it toward respect for all by all disputants, and that yielded an agreement and way forward.
