Not sure what to say?

What a great generous person. He is missed by all who new him.He was an excellent Pathologist and admired by all who who worked with him. We were so blessed to have had him as a friend. Bob and Carol Meli

Dr. Karpas was director of the Naples Blood Bank where we both served on the board. Dr. Karpas was Chair of Pathology of the Hospital where we collaborated on many cases during my practice of Medical Oncology and Hematology (1991-2020).

His comportment was tempered and professional. He kept the Pathology department open on Saturdays with a pathologist on site which I have not experienced at other hospitals. This routine Saturday service was very helpful and important to...

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Karpas in my early years at NCH. He was always appreciable and very congenial and knowledgeable pathologist. He was well known and very well respected in our community. My wife and I feel very blessed to have had him in our lives. Dr. Robert Meli

I had the privilege to meet and know Dr. Karpas since my arrival in Naples in 1990. He was a mentor to me and a dear man, excellent pathologist and instrumental in my appointment as District Medical Examiner. My heart is sad to know that he is not here any longer, but I am so blessed to have known him. God bless him and Linda.

Dr Karpas!
When i Worked at NCH! He Came Up to Me when I Was in the Lab Area ! As Said Young Man! Yes Sir! You Look Like Your Full of Liquid Life! How About Donating After Your Shift! We Need Your Help! To This Day Gallons Later! I've Never Stop! I Know He Inspired Many to Give The Juice of Life! Amen!

I came to Naples in 1991 to work at DSI laboratories as a cytotechnologist. Dr Karpas was always a warm and kind person to all the employees and often would invite us to lunch at his club. He was a wonderful teacher and exceptional pathologist and I have missed him greatly since his retirement. His passing leaves an enormous void for the city of Naples and the medical community. I have thought of him often and will miss him oh so much! With love and great respect I hope you will Rest In...

What a wonderful person whom I had the good fortune to work with at Naples Community Hospital for more than 20 years. A 'class act' who always had time for explanations regarding Pathology or Infection Control. Chuck and Linda both loved to commisurate with my late husband, Jerry, about vehicles- both their own and many others ! Charles lived a full and meaningful life, had a tremendous impact on Naples and SW Florida and will me sorely missed.

I first met Chuck in 1990 when I came to Naples as a young family doctor. He seemed genuinely interested in me and set an excellent example for a young doctor how to care for our patients and our community. I will forever remember his optimism, professionalism and energy. RIP Chuck.
