Not sure what to say?

During the early days of September 1970, I arrived on the
Syracuse University Campus as a Doctoral Fellow to work for
a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology. As a new graduate
student who had a "passion" for Audiovisual Media and
Communications, I met a tremendous Audiovisual Services
Scholar, his name was Mr. Charles L. Keller. He was a
wonderful "genius" scholar when it came to talking about
AV Equipment, I will never forget the wonderful moments
we...

I worked for Charlie for a while in the late '80s. He was wealth of knowledge on & off the job. He could relate with interest to almost any subject. I've since moved on and lost contact with him over the years, but, often recall the fond memories and conversation we have had.
God Bless You Charlie.

Many of Charlie's friends from the MHS Class of '62 just learned of his passing last month. We have been sharing fond memories of our classmate. Rosalie (Davidson)St.Mary

When John called us to tell of Charlie's passing, we felt a sense of loss. We have loved the Leaning Tree Christmas Cards he sent each year, and we will miss that connection.
Working with Charlie was good. We all learned so much.
His leadership went outside work when he organized the AV co-ed softball teams to play against other SU departments. We remember the competition, and the fun after work hours. Dick and Martha Lacy

Charlie was an awesome person and a great boss. He was a role model to me in my young years. He encouraged me when I thought about getting my college degree. He co-signed my first car loan when I didn’t have any credit. My prayers and thought are with his family at this time. May God’s peace be with you all during this difficult time.

My condolences to Charlie’s friends and family. He was a pleasure to work for, and to have as a friend. His knowledge of AV systems and devotion to his job were very admirable. Charlie not only employed but also supported many local musicians. I have countless memories of our AVS family in the 10 plus years working for him.

"Thank you Charlie"

Rest in Peace

I worked with Charlie for several years in the late 60s at SU AV Services and was proud to have him as a colleague.
We were a close team in those AV Services prefabs at Building 30 and 31 and Charlie was a key member of the team. He was a dedicated, resourceful and helpful man. All of us who got to know Charlie learned what a fine person he was. He was a good person to be around and always had a ready hand to help solve whatever problem had presented itself to us. Charlie was a...

My sincere condolences to Charlie's family and friends.
I was fortunate enough to have worked for Charlie for six years, but it wasn't until I had moved on in my career that I could fully appreciate the challenges faced by one in a supervisory postition, and how well Charlie handled them.
Rest well, Charlie, and thank you for helping me grow as a supervisor, and as a person.

My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to his family and friends !!

A short story:
Charlie hired me as a technician in the Audio-Visual depatment at SU back in 1973. We shared workspace in Prefabs 30 and 31 on College Place.
Sometimes during the winter, when the boiler failed during the night and the prefabs were colder inside than it was out, he'd "send" all of us across the street to the "Commons " which was a cafeteria in the basement of Slocum Hall ,until...
