ANSONIA: Charles P. Kelly, age 66, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2022, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the loving husband of Susanne DeMartino Kelly.  


     Charles was born in Yonkers, New York on January 18, 1956, son of the late Donald and Shirley Hegenaur Kelly. A resident of Ansonia for thirty-six years, Charles was a retired logistics manager for the former Norden Systems in Norwalk. He was a member of the Order of Free Masons in New York and Order of the Eastern Star where he was appointed District Grand Lecturer. Charles was also a member of the Pyramid Shriners in Stratford. His hobbies included reading, music and golf. He also enjoyed studying history.  


     In addition to his wife Susanne, Charles leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Nicole M. Kelly of Ansonia, a son, Kevin M. Kelly of Ansonia, a brother, Bruce E. Kelly (Donna) of Murrells Inlet, SC, grandson, William C. Maisto, mother-in-law, Mary Ann DeMartino of Roswell, GA and a host of family and friends.


     Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm a funeral service in celebration of Charles’s life will take place. Burial will be private. Contributions in Charles’s name may be made directly to The American Diabetes Association at, www.diabetes.org.
