Not sure what to say?

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear, long-time friend, Charles. He had been like a member of our family for more than 55 years. We will miss his jovial spirit and genuine friendliness.
Charlie was a dedicated son and outstanding educator who truly loved his students.

Rest in Peace, Charlie.....

Mr Kelso was my social studies teacher at Central Junior High. We were colleagues at John Hay when I became a teacher. He was a dear friend and he will be missed. So sorry I was out of town and missed his home going celebration. May he rest in peace. Juanita Bryant.

"Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal"

The staff and students who knew Mr. Kelso during his years at Collinwood are truly saddened. We are, however, so fortunate to have had the opportunity to know him, work with him, and learn from his many examples of wisdom, strength and tenacity. It is said that a great educator "takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart". He did just that!

Our sincere condolences to the Kelso family -

To the family of fun loving Charley Kelso, also known as "Uncle Charley. With deep regret I send this condolence. Charley was a dear friend of mine and although I have not seen (I moved away from Cleve.area) him recently the loss of Charles will remain for many days to come. Blessings to each of you, he is at total peace at this very moment. Rev. Geri Hoxie-Williams

Charles Kelso was part of our family for many years. He and L. Morris Jones M.D. grew up together in the Glenville neighborhood and he was Godfather to our sons. We have many fond memories of him, Charles McMillan and "Moe" as we spent so many times with so much laughter and fun. He will be missed by the Jones "boys" and me. May he rest in peace.
God bless his family, especially David Byers, who looked after him in his declining years. We will miss our "Uncle Charlie."

Mr. Kelso was a great man!! he has touched our families life in more ways than one. Rest peacefully ,you will be missed dearly! Praying for the family during this time. Just know to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord!! We will forever love you uncle Charles!!
