Ferne, I learned of Charlies death from one of our loyal Ford communicators. We are so sorry to hear this news. I had great admiration for Charlie when I worked under him at the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant and you were a lovely person to know. It would be nice to see you and rehash some old times. Betty and I live in East Tennessee and are very happy here. Tennessee is our home state and a wonderful place to live. We wish you and your family the very best.

Those of who saw Chick do his piece "River City" will never forget him. He leaves his book to his grandchildren and many wonderful memories. Quite a guy!

We were so sorry to hear of Chick's passing. He fought a long good fight. Bonnie has fond memories of working with him on the Harbor Ridge play, singing and dancing. Thoughts are with the family.
