Not sure what to say?

This post is so late because I just found out about Chuck's passing. I would just like to say that I am deeply saddened to hear about this. Chuck was a great guy and a wonderful man. I knew Chuck from his basketball days and I consider myself lucky that he considered me a friend. Chuck you will be missed !

Our deepest condolences to the Kittredge family. "Kitch" always greeted me with a friendly smile and a compliment! Chuck, you will be greatly missed by many.

Chuck,
You were always one of my biggest supporters and greatest friends. I remember all the basketball games we played all over the city with friends and challengers. Great times and even better memories. You were always pushing me to be better and not letting me settle for anything but to improve. You will be missed but always remembered. Lynn and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Charles Kittredge,

Alias Chuckey, Kitchey and a host of other names. I met Kitch when I was about 7 years old. I was visiting my cousin who lived on Bronson terrace. When we drovoe up I noticed that there was this huge group of kids all gathered further down the block. in the middle of it all was Chuck like the Pide Pipper. The mastermind behind a game of kickball where he made everyone feel special but also made you aware that you had a ways to go before you were in his league. ...

"KITCHY" as he was known to all of us kids (although we are all adults now), that didn't matter, he could always put a smile on anyone's face. When I told my kids of Chuckie' s passing, they both said out loud, "you little brat". That was a classic Chuckie line. I can still see his smile and hear his voice. My thoughts and condolences to Cynthia, Lauren, Scott, Leslie and Joel.

Chucky was the "ultimate big kid." He loved all kids big and small. He loved stuffing all the neighborhood kids into his car for the weekly ride to the "woods" for ice cream in the summer. And the nightly pickup basketball games on Park Edge Ave. Or the kickball games where "everyone" cheated....

And his famous nicknames for everyone. "Smellybelly" "Stinky-toes" and so on and so forth. How many generations did he fool with the fairy dust and the quarter trick??
And how many kids...

Chuck Kittredge an Icon ,an actor ,a magician,a realtor a man of many different talents. The most important talent he had was his ability to always give solid advice . I will miss you and am proud to have had a true FRIEND like you....Rest in peace ,till we meet again

He walked me down the isle then annouced "he was giving me away and there were no returns..."

For as long as I can remember the one thing he loved to do was to talk. I sat and listened to him talk about his acting career over the years and his years working as a spokes man for the telephone company, and he always ended with that he was getting old and that he was in his final act, well Poppa you've made it to the final Act and you have Exited the stage and we give you a standing ovation for your performance was sublime...

Charles Kittredge, We love you and we will miss you...
