Not sure what to say?

I'll never ever, ever forget Charlie! He introduced me to legends of rock music, classic movies, manga anime, he was my first step towards learning how to play the guitar, he let me use his car and he even proof read my final paper. He was one of my best mates and I'm sorry he passed but I am so glad he lived and continues to live on in the memory of the people like me he influenced.

Charlie, 2 years old, Midway Park, N.Y.

JANET AND BOB: YOU HAVE BEEN IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS SINCE WE LEARNED OF YOUR LOSS. YOU VISITED US WITH CHARLIE IN 1980 DURING JANET'S MINISTRY AT GRACE CHURCH IN CORTLAND. YOU HAVE BEEN A SOURCE OF COMFORT AND HOPE TO SO MANY - WE ARE SURE THAT GOD IS WATCHING OVER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. FONDLY, ANDREA BUER AND BETSY SMITH

Charlie and I were in the same class at Dickinson. We often shared a coffee and a laugh early in the morning before class. He really was a wonderful person will be deeply missed.

I met charlie in high school and the memories of our english class crack ups will always be there. i am very sorry to hear about your loss and i know his spirit will carry on.

I haven't seen Charlie since shortly after high school, but the memories and laughs that we had through high school will last a lifetime. His smile, jokes, and personality will be missed.

charlie,

though many had tried (tried and failed?), you taught me how to play the guitar. you were so patient, and i was so bad at it. but you did it buddy! and i will play the songs you taught me for the rest of my life, and think of you.

you gave me that leather jacket. it is so cool. why did you do that? i still don't know. it is so cool. i've kept it in good shape, i've had my mom and shelly sew parts of it back together, i got jimmy's grandpa to put a new zipper in it,...

I met Charlie at Dickinson, and even though we had lost touch he is sadly missed. My thoughts are with you, his family.

Dear Bob and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Charlie. Wishing you peace at this difficult time.
