I met charlie when I was a new firefighter.. first female in fort walton beach florida in the 70s .. he was so nice..I really enjoyed everything he was teaching us to prepare us for emergencies.. I'll miss him

Charlie, you are always in my heart through your wife Judi, my dearest friend. We talk about you all the time and the wonderful things that you have done and how you kept the family together.

You will never be forgotten and the acolades and awards that you have received are well deserved.

Thank you for being my friend.

I was the only female volunteer in a north florida town in the early 70s. Charlie treated me with camaradarie and respect. I'll miss him a lot.

Charlie was a great friend an classmate. He will be sorely missed. RIP GOD BLESS.

Charlie was a teacher, mentor, colleague and friend. Over 37 years, he received many phone calls from me for assistance and I received the benefit of his knowledge and friendship. It was my good fortune to have an extended lunch with Larry Jessup and Charlie the day of his passing. I left the FPF Convention thinking how fortunate I had been. The next morning when I got the news of his passing, I was very sad but glad for good times past. R.I.P. Charlie Kossuth.

Charlie was our mentor but more important, he was our friend. We are thankful to have shared many memorable meals together with him and Judi. As young lawyers decades ago, we read and heard about his many successes in advancing the collective bargaining interests of firefighters. Then, it was unimaginable that we would meet and become friends with Charlie. But, we did. And, working side-by-side, and under his wing, Charlie taught us more than any law school or labor lawyer ever did or...

I had classes with Charlie at MEHS and it seemed that the times we had a conversation you felt like you knew him from Day 1. He was very friendly and in the 3 years at MEHS I never heard him speak in a negative manner about anyone. Our sympathy and prayers to him and the family. Richard Russo

Judi and family,

Words can not express enough sorrow and grief that you must feel because of the loss of Charlie. We all share that loss with you. Our prayers and thoughts are offered to you for comfort in these trying times.

Charlie had a direct impact on my life. The friendship, respect, loyalty, and admiration for him and his example of life, is a model for all to follow.
