Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Tom's passing this morning when I was about to send him an email regarding hunting wild boars in Australia that made me think fondly of him. He was one of my favourite partners. He and Diane adopted Eleanor from China from the same orphanage that Annie and I adopted our son, Jack. I am so sorry he is no longer with us.

Tom was a vivacious force of nature. When he entered a room his energy could be felt by everyone present. He was also generous and in more than one occasion gifted me a goose fresh from a hunt in Maryland. He was a good man, a great opera fan and had the world´s most interesting office second only to the NY Museum of Natural History. He will be missed. My condolences to his wife and family.

With great sadness I read today in the Cornell Law Forum of Tom’s passing. We were classmates at Cornell Law School (Class of 1975) and teammates on the Law School intramural hockey team. In addition to being a brilliant law student, fine friend and outstanding attorney, Tom was a most talented goalie. He truly was a Renaissance Man. He will be missed.
