Charlie and I became very good friends and started playing Bocce at the Elk's here in Punta Gorda. I would pick him up or he would pick me up on bocce days.I miss him very much. Roy Baccarella

Charlie was my roommate when we were hired at Piedmont together in the summer of 1981. Charlie was always the one to listen to all our problems (20 of us in the new hire class) and in his cool maner would offer his advise.He will be missed and will live in our hearts forever!

There's not enough words to say how much we are going to miss Charlie. He started to play Bocce with the Guys of the bocce Club at the Punta Gorda Elks He took a liking to the game and all the guys& gals love playing with him. He was such a a great guy for the short time I knew him.I.m going to miss him very much.This is for Charlie "STAY CLOSE AND UP FRONT" . Your Friend George Farruggio

To The Lane Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. We played Bocce at the Punta Gorda Bocce Club. He was a Super person

May God Bless Charlie and Watch over his family.

Charlie and I were close enough in seniority at work, to never fly together. However, that was no obstacle to his extension of friendship and comraderie to me and many others.

To The Lane Family;
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie. I knew him many years ago at Aeromech Airlines. He was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humour. I know he will be missed by all who were close to him. My wife Mary Ann and I will keep Charlie in our thoughts and prayers the weekend. God Bless all of you.

I am so very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. It was a pleasure to fly with him in our early days at Piedmont. I feel blessed to have known Charlie.
