Not sure what to say?

I remember when Chuck offer to help me finish painting a room in our church. I wasn´t feeling well and I was so grateful to have his help even though he thought I was a sloppy painter which was true. Years later I was painting a room in our church with his wife Barbara when she walked into the paint tray that was full of paint almost up to her ankles. I know Chuck was laughing in heaven as much as I was watching her.

Chuck Langston is my brother-in-law's father. He was a loving husband, a good father, and a doting grandfather. He was also a great in-law. I was always comfortable with Chuck at family gatherings. Although he was often involved in projects at his house, he would stop and visit when we stopped by. Mr. Langston..I will always remember him as "Chief". I don't recall how that name started, but I'll say he was strict, fair, and a great listener. I guess he let you know he was in charge, but understood kids and gave us a little rope. He always shared stories of his outdoor excursions, and never hesitated to show us how to do something. You're a great man!

We will truly miss our dear friend, Chuck, and his wonderful sense of humor. He is now one of God's Special Angels.

I will miss Chuck so much but I know he is pain free now and with his Maker. I will remember him as a true fighter who tried to stay active and attend his loved church for as long as he could. I will also remember him as a good friend! God Bless you Barb.

We send our condolences and share in your grief as we remember Chuck and our too-brief meetings. He seemed the epitome of what the phrase "fine gentleman" expresses. We will miss him.
