Charles W. LaRose

so sad to hear of Charlies passing. I had the pleasure of serving him coffee for the past 35 years. He was always kind and patient. I loved chatting with him and keeping up with the lawn bowling and such. One day he brought in a few albums of beautiful pics. He was always grateful for his neighbors and how helpful they were to him. He also spoke fondly of his nephews and nieces. But most of all I loved when he would come in all dressed in his decorated WW11 uniform he was always humble and...

Charlie was such a pleasant and talented person. He was an expert photographer, lawn bowler and wood worker. All of the things he built were so well designed and of the highest quality. Charlie used to tell us about his remarkable slides of photographs that he took of flowers. One day he got out the projector and showed them to us. My, they were beautiful!

We so enjoyed having Charlie as a friend and neighbor. We will miss his stories and his presence with us at the barbeque.

You will be missed by all your friends in the court. You will be especially missed @ all our cookouts, beer in hand, and telling your war stories!!! Most important, you and Lil will be together again..... ~Ginger
