Charles was born on March 1, 1922 and passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. Charles was a resident of Maryville, Tennessee at the time of passing. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Army attaining the rank of Sgt. 1st Class. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard and Dr. Bill Booth officiating. The interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday the funeral home. Since a few years ago, when I "So happened" to first see one of Pastor Lawson's videos, I truly had a "spiritual" eye opener to things I had very to no idea was about and is going to happen. I saw Pastor Charles Lawson on YouTube and I can honestly say that his sermons have been a blessing specially The Lords Prayer sermon. My condolences to the Family and brothers and sisters in Christ in his congregation. What a great man of God. Dear Lord we need more Pastors like him that really speak the truth and are not afraid of persecution. Rest In Peace Pastor Lawson till we meet one day on that glorious day my brother in Christ Jesus.

Just found this wonderful man of God on YouTube in middle of the night last night. What exceptional preaching! My condolences to his family and his church. At least everyone knows where Pastor Lawson is and with Whom he is enjoying eternity! Thank you, Lord for this man and his ministry so we can continue to learn.
