Although we met only once or twice at the family home in Newfane, I admired Nelson from afar for most of my life. His parents first befriended my parents while living in Vienna in the early 1930s. After the war they would visit us in Burlington, and they always kept us informed of Nelson's progress. I am so sorry to hear. I grew up in Newfane, Vt and in my youth worked for Charlie´s parents. They too were special. A few years ago mutual friends invited my wife and I to have dinner with Charlie and Joan. It was delightful and it is good to know what he accomplished in life. His parents would have been proud

I owed my fathers life to Dr Leach and his wife. They saved his life in 1970. I emailed Dr. Leach a few years ago and he remember that day in September 13,1970. My father passed on September 6. 2021. My condolences to Dr Leach and his family.

Love to all of Charlie´s wonderful family.

Chuck We are sorry for the passing of your Dad.
