Not sure what to say?

Ricks & Bob,
So sorry to hear of your loss of Papa. I feel fortunate to have been graced by his company and charming personality, even if only briefly in time. Specifically I remember our dinner at Rose's and his energy and enthusiasm, even after taking a spill in the dark confines of the restaurant. His genuine interest in others put you at ease immediately as he welcomed you into warm conversation and made you feel like you were the focus of the night. I am grateful for the...

Dear Jen and Family
I am so sorry to hear about your father, I was out of town last week. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Jen I miss you too.

Dear Leibrandt Family,

One brief encounter with Papa beside your pool two summers ago endeared him to me forever, probably because I felt endeared by him, even though he was unsure who I was! What a rare gift, to convey love to the person in front of you, without condition. What a rare legacy of how to Be he leaves his children and grandchildren.

With love and deepest sympathy,

Sara Walden, Erica's aunt

Dear Anne,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I have many good memories of Charlie starting in high school and then for many years at the Studio.

Jenny,
Our thoughts are with you and your family during this very sad time. We are so sorry we missed the wake & funeral. We were out of town. Our love goes out to all of you.
The April Family

Dear Ann & family.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Sorry we cannot make the wake.

Although we only knew him briefly, we liked Papa right away. He was a warm person who made us feel welcomed from the minute we met him. He had that twinkle in his eye and the love for his family was obvious. How wonderful to have had such a light in your lives. May the memories of a loving relationship with Papa help to sustain you in the days ahead and guide you always. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Jenny and Paul Snyder

Papa,

You were the best grandfather anyone could ask for. You were always there to listen and laugh with a big smile on your face. I will never forget that about you, and you were always such a pleasure to be around. You will be greatly missed, and I cherish all the memories we have together for the past 21 years.

Please watch over and protect us with Bobby. It is already not the same without you. As Grandy says, there is no better place to be than 1424.

I love you so...

The tight knit fabric of the Leibrandt Family will be drawn even closer as you all gather to mourn the loss of Papa and celebrate what he meant to you. To me he represented all that you would wish for in a Grandfather and Father Figure. The first time I met him he reached out his huge hand, embraced me, looked me in the eye and made me feel welcome. He knew how to make a person feel special. I know how crazy all of his grandchildren were about him and I know you will all miss the special...
