Although I haven't seen my Uncle Chuck in probably 12 years, we had dinner in Salt Lake City along with my folks, Ed and Peg Mattson, word of his passing comes to me as sad news.
Chuck was always my favotire Uncle, and I always enjoyed his company and the many mental sparring matches we both seemed to enjoy having. Opinionated, but always jovial and generous, I thought of him as a friend as well as an Uncle, when we were both much younger.
