LIGHTFOOT, Charles A. "Charlie," went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2011 at the age of 67. He is survived by his brother, J.C. Lightfoot and wife, Vivian; daughter, Stacey Atkins and husband, Walter; daughter, Sharon Lightfoot; two granddaughters, Susan Atkins and Sydney Lightfoot; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Gloria Branch. Charlie was retired and enjoyed years of fishing with friends. A memorial service will be held February 26, 1 p.m. at Swift Creek Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Swift Creek Baptist Church, 7511 N. Spring Run Road, Midlothian, Va. 23112.

Dearest Gloria,
Our hearts and prayers will always be with you. Charlie was such a good man and was always ready to help me fix anything...rebuilding that trailor..fixing my sailboat clock... It's been such a pleasure to know and be friends with him. Gloria..he will always be by your side. Only his sweet soul is gone. He will be missed dearly.
