He was such a sweet, gentle man and my family enjoyed visiting with he and his wife , children and grandchildren. He will be missed.

I only talked with Art on a few occassions, but my recollection is that he was very easy to be around. I know that he is loved and respected by many, especially his family, and leaves many great memories

I had known Art for several years. He was active in the Senior Citizens Club in Ceres where I was an officer. I subscribe to the Modesto Bee over the internet. I have lived in Dayton, Tennessee for the past three years, I am thankful to the Modesto Bee for the news.
