Not sure what to say?

That piece of my heart that he took away has never closed. He is sooooo missed. XxxxooooJane

We have lost a treasure and a Renaissance man. I do not know if you all realize that Charlie and Ellen were the Best Man and the Maid of Honor at Steve and Lisa´s wedding. Quite a blessing for the newlyweds. Steve and Lisa became Charlie´s guardian angels, organizing and providing his 24/7 care.Steve always present and available for Charlie. Lisa always ready, willing and able to drive him to New York, or anywhere for that matter, for music, adventures and errands. There is a special place in...

Charlie also used his surgeon´s skills to make excellent Asian food. My late husband and I enjoyed having Charlie and Ellen as neighbors for many years. RIP.

I served with Charlie in Vietnam aboard USS BON HOMME RICHARD (CVA-31.) He was a welcome visitor on the Navigation Bridge, always interested in seamanship and airmanship. Two of his proudest accomplishments were saving the nearly-severed arm of a Marine captain, and performing an emergency appendectomy in a typhoon, where 60 foot seas caused the ship to roll and lurch violently. Rest in peace, Shipmate.

Baruch Dayan Emet. Thank you Dr. Lipson for your dedication to emergency medicine. Every EMT and paramedic in Massachusetts is in your debt.

Thank you for your service to our country. May you rest in peace.

From the time I first knew him as an undergraduate HUB trumpet player he contributed joy and his organizational skills to everyone he came in contact with. The world was a better place thanks to him as he provided a superb model of a life well lived.

Dear family, I just learned of Uncle Charlie's (that's what I called him) passing and want you all to know I am thinking of you all. Uncle Charlie was one of my mom's (Elaine Goodman Werther) favorite cousins. And when I was five years old and cut my thumb open on a smashed storm door (before plexiglass!), the story goes that I stopped crying as soon as my mom said that Uncle Charlie was going to make it all better (7 stitches!). I'm sending warm condolences and much love to you all.
