Not sure what to say?

Chuck will continued to be missed and remembered as the kind and caring person he was to so many people he touched throughout his life.

His commitment to his profession and family says it all. God bless.

Losing the husband of my longtime friend, Patti, is saddening. I knew Chuck through Patti and I knew him to be a wonderful husband and doting father to two lovely daughtera and a precious corgi. Chuck will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Although we sat in different counties, I saw Chuck at conferences and was always impressed with his judgement and thoughtful comments. We will miss him.

I am deeply saddened to read of Chuck's passing. I was fortunate to know Chuck and his family in the 80's when my daughter and I were living in Newport. I was with the Newport Hilton Hotel, and my daughter Cheri attended school with Jody and Jennifer. The family welcomed us with open arms as we acclimated to Newport. His love of community and family was second to none. We send our sincere condolences to Patti and the family.

I knew Chuck from our years at University of Oregon. I also visited with him in Newport at the court house and was a jurist in his court about 7-years ago. What a great guy he was. I will miss him. My dearest sympathy to Patti and his children.

Chuck's passing is a great loss to us all. I remember early days with Chuck and Phil Miller and time spent at the Miller's farm. Then there was the fishing trips when he seemed to take great joy in reminding me of chicken soup while I agonized with tinges of green around MY gills. He may have passed, but the memories of his being will remain our hearts and minds. In that, he is immortal.
