Charles was born on April 24, 1934 and passed away in June 2016. Charles was a resident of Pottsville, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. He was a 1952 graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard and also the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Verdun France. He was married to Frances. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 1st at 11:00 a.m. at St. John theBaptist Church 913 Mahantongo St. Pottsville with the Rev. David J. Loeper officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home Inc. 1818 Mahantongo St. Pottsville and on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the procession will leave for church. Interment with military honors will follow in St. John No. 2 Cemetery Pottsville.
