A little late with this memory, but I just found out that my Ohio University college roommate, fraternity brother, and good friend had passed away a year and a half ago. Aside from my immediate family, Buddy (we called him Buddy in those days) had the greatest impact on my life. He knew a college girl at OU and introduced us. About 13 months later that "college girl" and I got married. We've been married now for 58 years with kids and grandkids and in-laws and dogs and a bunch of other stuff...

Belated condolences to the Lowman family. I enjoyed having Bud as a neighbor and coaching with him and against him. He had a great enthusiasm for life.
