Dear Marie and Family,

My sincere sympathy goes to you all in Charlie's passing. He was a fine man and a great teacher. I have many fond memories that I truly treasure.
Words seem rather inadequate at a time like this, but perhaps knowing that your friends are thinking of you will be a comfort.
