Not sure what to say?

When we moved into our home on Ricardo Place near the Macks, Charles was about 18- months old. The first time I saw Charlie, he was with Jane and Leslie and they had dressed him up as though he was their live doll…Charles was smiling and laughing as they ferried him around in a little wagon, happily going along with the whole charade to please his two older, beautiful sisters.

Every year on the first day of school, Dale lined up all the neighborhood boys against our front...

Charlie was the original Mountain Man, a survivalist. He taught me about coyote tracks, deer, the native Indians in descanso, native plants and their uses, even star navigation. We played a lot of music together, and recorded hundreds of songs with me on bass and his incredible Hendrix-like guitar wailing away. Some of that music we made will live on, played by my band. He was a curious philosopher, always questioning the universe. I will miss him, and the good times we had over the last 3...

I remember holding Charlie as a baby and the great times at the Mack's cabin. I was happy to leave my Hillcrest students in Charlies' caring hands.

The Severson family will miss and remember the good times with the Macks

Charlie was a great neighbor! He was always keeping watch over our home when we were gone and often called or stopped in to see if I needed anything from the grocery. We already miss his smiling face, his cheerful laugh, and most of all his stories. We could not of asked for a better neighbor. Our prayers are with all of you during this time.

Dear Leslie,

"I am so saddened by the news of Charlie's passing. I remember with great fondness the numerous times we went into Carinos when Charlie was making pizzas and how he would take care of us - he was always smiling and seemed so happy. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to you, Jane, and your mom. Charlie was such a good guy. I'm glad I got to know him. He is at peace now".

Dear Leslie and Jane - I was so sad to hear of Charlie's death. I remember when he was just a baby - and you two were always the good big sisters. Know that I am keeping you both and your Mom in my prayers - Anne Hagata Good

I went to high school with Charlie. He was such a wonderful guy. So nice to everybody. I think he always had a smile on his face. I am very saddened by his death. Rest in peace Charlie. You will never be forgotten!!!

I worked with Charlie at Mission Bay HS for about 6 weeks in 1990. He was campus security and I was an English Dept. TA. He always had a smile on his face and he put the kids first. My condolences.

Dear Charlie,

Your smile, your silky clean blonde hair, your kind heart, your beautiful tan and your stride down the beach when we were young. May your spirit drift along the horizon to see many more sunsets. I will always remember you. God bless you.
