Not sure what to say?

A remarkable gentleman, teacher, story teller, and scholar. A true friend of the scouting world.thank you for sharing your life with me. RIP dear friend.

Dr. Macune, your knowledge inspired me to pursue history and make it my passion... Thank you for that you taught the world...

The world was better for those of us who knew you.

Dr. Macune, I will miss you. You brought such joy to the history department at CSUN, I felt you were like another dad to me.

Our world is certainly a better place because of you. I would say rest in peace but knowing you I'm sure you are hard at work in heaven helping tirelessly and making it a better place too. Thank you so much for so many blessings. I feel so blest to have known you and your family.

So very grateful for cherished memories of your sweet visit to us in French Camp. Our hearts are with you in both sorrow and hope. God bless!

Happy Memories in French Camp, MS

Seems impossible for one humble soul to have accomplished so much, to have served so many and to mean the world to his loved ones. We miss him, but continue to thrive because he left his imprint. He was truly a remarkable and wonderful teacher, a caring friend and loving family man. His spirit will never leave us. Rest in piece dear Charles.

Dear Charles - my old colleague and friend. Wishing You all the Best and contributing the "Ave Marie" with my violin. Mike (Michael Meyer)
