Dear Julie, I can't tell you how shocked and saddened Lothar and I were to see that Chuck has passed away. It's been over 50 years since Chuck and I were in school. It's been over 40 years since I last saw you and Chuck but I will never forget the early years at Shakamak. Nor will I forget the nights after work that Chuck, Pittenger and I would ride our Beemers to Macomb or Carthage, load our bikes in the back of U-Haul trucks and then drive those trucks back to Bloomington for the U-Haul...
