Not sure what to say?

Great guy and coach.

I played freshmen BB for Coach Mannheim ´76/`77. Such a great teacher and enthusiastic coach. I remember how proud he was when we actually stayed in a play for more than three passes. "you can pass faster than you can dribble". We players loved catching the occasional after school teachers' pickup BB game; watching him post up and make beautiful passes. RIP and thank you for the BB and life lessons!

I was the Varsity hoop coach working with Charlie back in the early `90s and much appreciated his knowledge and ability to teach basketball and life lessons to his players. He helped make the JV and Varsity programs so successful during his tenure. I am sending prayers and happy thoughts for a life well lived. Brian Cogswell

Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing, please accept my deepest condolences

As a teaching colleague , and later as an assistant principal at LHS, I knew and greatly admired Charlie's character and his integrity. In the classroom, and either on the court or the fairways, Charlie knew and insisted upon doing things right. He had a strong, positive impact on the LHS community, and will be remembered by many. Dan Lynch

Rest in peace Coach. Played golf 4 years at LHS under you. Always enjoyed your company at the course or in class.

Coach Manheim was an awesome coach and an even better person. I was lucky to play for him and know him.

Deepest Condolences, I had the pleasure of coaching against Charlie for 15 years, he was a great coach and even a better man!!RIP COACH

Coach thank you for believing in me when there had been doubts. You were an amazing person showing me that life is more than just sports.
