Charlie was a delightful human being and without a doubt very cordial and easy to work with during my time at Mapes and Ross.

Charlie was a long time business associate and Golfing friend. In 1978 when I was a AT&T, Mapes and Ross was hired to do a major piece of research about a new online service test we were doing with the big newspaper chain, Knight-Ridder. What made it unusual was that we bypassed the usual 3 bid requirement and selected Mapes & Ross because of their unique understanding of what we were doing in information technology.
