I was fortunate to have attended a lecture as a Physician Assistant student in 1981 by Dr. Marable. I just recently came across the notes he gave out at that lecture and was reminded how many times I referred to those lucid and logical fundamentals of a good Neurological work-up.
I retired last year and due to moving soon, I re-found them and looked him up on the internet. I am saddened to hear of his passing but rest assured somewhere he is giving a student the best of his knowledge and...

To the family of Charles so sorry I did not know. Mostly Allen and the girls may God bless you all and Mr .Nicklaus. . Rosie

What a great man you were, such a tragedy that you passes suddenly. More of a tragedy that I had no idea until today. You were a brilliant physician and I was always amazed at how you would go to extreme depths to figure out patients illnesses after they had been to numerous others who were puzzled. You truly cared about your patients and your employees, there is no one who compares. Thank you for being such a great boss but more importantly such a great man. Rest in peace, Doc. Thank you

I'm sending our memories of each other with love. You were special to me then and now.

Charles, I really missed visiting with you at our class reunion. At least I got a few minutes. I'll remember you from elementary school. Also, your knowledge of cars and your Mother who used to watch me until my Mother got off work. May GOD bless and keep you. Charlie.

To a very close and personal friend I will always miss. I did not know my you rest in peace. And the secrets we shared. .Rosie

My dear friend and doctor, Charles, you have been sorely missed this last year. You never know how much you grow to depend on a good doctor and good friend. I certainly missed having a good long talk with you once I returned from my trip out of the country this Spring, but alas, you were visiting with your patients that had gone on to heaven with you. Rest in peace.
