Charlie was the consummate Scout. An inspiration to all of. a leader in every way, always striving to help, especially campers and new staff at Chubb Lake. (My first year on staff was 1950 - the first year for Chubb Lake.)
Sandy, you and Charlie were our neighbors on Marina Vista for several years. So may years ago ---.

Charlie was one of the good ones. I will miss him. Grammar school in Fairfax, Tam High, College of Marin, Troup 7 scouts, winter camp in the Sierras, Tamarancho, and lots of good memories. It is corney, but "Thanks for the Memories"

Sandy & Family -- Charles may have left us, but he's certainly being welcomed in heaven by our many Scouting friends, loudest of all, of course, being Dick Hacke. Hard to imagine we began our Marin Scouting experiences together over 6 decades ago when he was on camp staff at Chubb Lake & I was a new Scout. Our later shared years of fun & service on our Council's Executive Board are a testimony to the leadership he inspired. Thank you Sandy for sharing him with us all these years. George...
