Our deepest regrets go to the family of Chuck. He lived across the cove from us in Lawrence and was always a joy to see go flying by in that car of his either going to church or for coffee in Decatur. He may be gone but never forgotten. Neighbors, John and Lonna Menzor

My Uncle Chuck was a constant joy to me especially as we both got older...I shared many wonderful conversations with him and learned many stories about him and our family during these conversations....how I will miss him...I loved him with all my heart...his niece Laurie and her husband, Chuck Andrews

Chuck was always willing to lend a helping hand to our family. When Grandma Wendt was sick and was unable to go the the cottage Chuck was always there to help with the things around the yard. Chuck would always make sure to say hello when we were up at the cottage and he always had a smile on his face to greet us.

My sincere condolences to the family, especially to my high school friend Sue. May your loss be softened by many, many loving memories.

My wife Frances & I visited my uncle Chuck in November 2007. I am pleased we made the trip to see him in Lawrence, MI, as my uncle was in good health then and quite cheerful. We will miss him, as he was a unique loving individual & proud family man. Respectfully, his nephew, Warren Alcorn

Even though I have not seen him for probably close to 45 years, we always exchanged Christmas cards and letters. I looked forward to them because they were newsy, cheery and warm. His smile reminded me so much of my own father, his brother John (Jeff). My sincere best thoughts to Uncle Chuck's immediate family. From his Newphew Ron Matlon from Maryland.
