Mr Matthew was our neighbor for years as the superintendent of the real North Forest school district before he took over Dallas ISD

Dr. Matthews was an educator and loved WHISD and it's people. I worked with Dr. Matthews in the district for many years. I think of him often when I run across reminders from the District. He was superintendent while my children attended school there also. He was a great person and is truly missed. He had such a great and loving family.
