I always looked forward to finding him working the trails in Westlake Oaks as I knew there would be lengthy conversation and spectacular stories. We will miss him, but he has certainly left us with some wonderful memories and some beautiful art.

I am truly saddened to hear about the loss of Charles. Such a kind, funny gentleman. Always had a joke or a story to tell me everytime he saw me. The world has lost a true gentle soul.

I'm so sorry to hear about Chuck. I had a nice visit with him in his shop a couple of years ago right before I moved to Alpine, and he reminised about his Sul Ross and cowboy days there. For years he helped me with my blacksmithing, and was just a great guy. He will be missed by many.
