Our family met Charlie, Barbara, and their family in 1993 when we were lucky enough to move on their street in Baltimore. All these years later we are still friends. Charlie was funny, kind, smart, and thoughtful. Anyone who ever met him thought he was one of the best human beings they ever met. He had a way with people, for sure, and we all loved him. And he had a rare gift with children. They knew he took them seriously, he saw good things in them, and they knew he cared. Heaven just...
