Not sure what to say?

Regardless of location, personal health, or his busy schedule, Granddad rarely missed any sporting events that my sisters or I participated in. My dad and I were attempting to count up all the games over the years and we decided that he probably attended 800 games (that probably weren´t too fun to watch) in the last last 12 years. A lot of people like to say that family comes in their lives and Granddad was a perfect representation of that. I love you Granddad and thank you for watching me...

The best Granddad anyone would ever ask for! I know he´s up in Heaven watching over all of us, miss him every day

He never missed a flag football, soccer, or volleyball game

I believe the success of an individual is how he/she impacted their family and how much the family loved and respected them in return. To view how Mr. McCarthy would attend all of his grandkids events and to witness how much his family cared for and appreciated him is a testament to the person he was. Heartfelt condolences to the McCarthy family. The MacMillans

We have good memories through many years of sharing our lives together. Rest in piece. Joyce and Chuck

Lost one of my friends. Charlie was my boss in Minneapolis in 1996. We became friends that has lasted all these years. We will miss our yearly visits and monthly calls. God bless Charlie. Chuck and Joyce

The world lost a Jayhawk, but God gained an angel. Rest in Peace.

I didn´t even have to read the obituary to know what an amazing man Mr. McCarthy was! I always made it a point to say hello to Mr. McCarthy at every event I came to that he was at. Which I think he was at ALL of them!! He was always so gracious in asking about all my kids. He never forgot! Knew all their names! He especially always took an interest in Cord. Mr. McCarthy is a man of greatness, and he will be dearly missed! What a legacy he leaves for his children and grandchildren!! My deepest...
