Everyone called him Charlie. He was very gifted, with all kinds of talent. He enjoyed good music, playing the guitar and singing. He always had a passion for photography. When it came to his photography he was a natural at creating all the unforgettable memories. He also loved hunting and fishing and was a great cook. At one point he even had his own steelhead guide business. He graduated from Shoreline Community college with his associates degree in psychology. Later he became a Marine and fought for the US for two years. Charlie was a security guard for Boeing in Seattle. Later he was a driving inspector for the DMV in Washington. Then at age 49 he retired and moved to Helena, Montana. He was a Brother, Uncle and Father. His Mother was Anna May McClain and his Father was Carroll Henry McClain, from Butte, Montana. His Family will never forget him or his sense of humor. Without him I would never have the wisdom I have today. Charlie McClain will be in many hearts and missed always.

Hi Charlie,

It's Kimberly! Kyle's daughter. You basically watched me grow up from my Mom's belly to a grown women. I am so grateful for you and your friendship with him. My favorite memory was when you took me fishing and I got sea sick, but you help me catch a big salmon and for that I am for the experience with you. Thank you for all the kind words on my hardest days and for being so kind to our family. Rest easy.

I Miss My Dad. He loved me for who I was and accepted me for who I striving to become. Dad's are strong for a reason.. Their strength gives us a sense of protection. Now that you are in Heaven Dad, I know that you will continue to protect me. Thanks for being My Dad. I will always love and miss you Until we meet again.

Hello,

Charlie will be missed. We met him soon after he moved to Helena. Pastor Jerry, from Helena Full Gospel Restoration Fellowship, and Charlie hit it off. Both were vets and both served during the Vietnam conflict.

Charlie was a great guitar player, though age caught up with him. While it took away his ability to pay, he still had the music in his heart.

Our last visit with him just a couple of weeks before, he was so thrilled I spread his Blue Flax seed around...

Thank you for blessing me with our daughter, Amy. Rest in peace.

Miss my buddy forever, rest easy Charlie

I just wanted to send my luv to the family. I got to know Charles through my work place. Charles was a shopper there as well as family and friends of his. Charles was a kind man, I could see it in his eyes and funny. When he was getting sick it was sad, I tried to let him know that Jesus could heal him of his sickness, and I would be praying for him. He was attending a church at the time and believed in the power of prayer. He was still happy I could see hope in his eyes. I enjoyed...
