Not sure what to say?

Dear Georgia, I just found out late today of Charlie's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed the company of you both. You and your entire family is in my prayers.

Georgia and children , Al and I will miss Charlie so.... I particularly loved learning about Poquoson and the area listening to Charlie's wonderful stories of people and places. Blessed with many skills and talents , you and Charlie have always been so kind sharing knowledge , tidbits on fixing and making works of art and "all those old things we loved"...... such was our frienship hanging out in our garages enjoying the company as we all worked on our various projects... Remember we...

So sorry to hear this! Just found out late this afternoon from Mike Davenport. He was a very good man, blessed to know him and his family!

We were blessed to meet Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel during their dining trips to Gloucester Point. We have three finely carved items and we we're fortunate to see a carousel at the Poquoson Seafood Festival a few years ago. I don't think I ever meet more friendly people in my life. Thanks for the stories and memories in the brief time we knew you Mr. McDaniel. Lord bless his family during their time of loss.

Georgia & family; we are so sad to hear about Charlie. Bob & Charlie had some great memories & we had such fun visiting you in your home & you visiting us in Texas. I am so glad we had the opportunity to see your wonderful talent of carving & painting. We will always treasure his works we have. When we think of Charlie we think about how he made us laugh. Our thoughts, prayers & memories are with you.

Mr. Charlie was always such a nice gentlemen, I worked at Poq Mcds for 7 years and was able to spend many mornings with him. I loved seeing his wood work!! Such a delightful man, so sorry for your loss!!!

The entire McDaniel family is in my prayers. Mr. Charlie was a great friend to all who ever met him. I remember visiting him with my dad several years ago and the two of them going through old family photos and naming all the people they remembered. May God be with Mrs. Georgia and the entire family.

Georgia and family, Sorry to hear of Red's passing. Loved to be around him, he was always a lot of fun. Loved his wood carvings. One great thing about Red was he took care of and loved his family to no end. Peace be with you all in this time.

Dear Bonnie,

I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Every time you spoke of him, I could see the delight in your eyes of what a wonderful father he was. Your warmth and caring for others is a beautiful reflection of how he and your mom raised such a nice family. May God's love comfort all of you.
