Not sure what to say?

Thank you all for your kind words and condolences. My father was a proud man who would have been humbled by the outpouring of support we have received. We were blessed to have him and clearly he will not be forgotten. His legacy will live on through all 5 of his children, all 9 of his grandchildren and generations to come.

Pamela and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
May you find peace and comfort in your friends and family.

As Chuck's Son, I am deeply touched by the notes posted on his Guest Book. He would have been sincerely flattered and humbled by the outpouring of support you have shown his family upon his passing. We underestimated his ability to touch so many lives and never fully appreciated it until now. Thank you all.

Dear Pamela,

May God hold you and your family tightly in the palm of His hand, providing overwhelming comfort, peace, and rest during this time. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

Pamela and family...our thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how hard it was to go through this.

Pamela, I could see in church today, that your words rang true with so many people:

Your heart is weak
And my heart breaks

You gasp for air
And leave me breathless

When your eyes close
My eyes weep

I pray to God
“Just let him sleep”

Go in peace
Walk towards the light

It’s time to let go
No more need to...

Mr. McGovern,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Semper Fi Devil Dog!
Mike Casey USMC '85-'89

Charlie, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

2006 KofC Christmas Dinner

Chuck was a loving husband, devoted father and great friend. He brought his unique brand of humor and continuous support to each KofC Council event despite the demands of work and recent illness. We lost a brother but his legacy will live forever in the hearts of the people he touched. GK Marty Walsh, friend and brother KofC 13904.

Uncle Chuck is my last uncle to be with us. I was so happy that I got to share so many laughs with him last week. He had me, Mike S. and Gerard in hysterics. Oh, the stories he told! He always seemed so glad to see us Tom McGoverns and it was always good to see him. He was a proud United States Marine. He was a good guy. Will miss you. Love Mark, Pam and Jeffrey McGovern
